The Brisbane crew neck is a useful layering piece that fits perfectly under a jacket or on its own over a shirt and tie. With a modern regular fit, our Brisbane crew neck is an updated version of a classic knit sweater.
The sweater is made of lighter Geelong lambswool. All Alan Paine knits are fully formed, meaning they are shaped on the knitting machine rather than cut and sewn.
Each shirt consists of three main parts: back, front and sleeves. Our skill in assembling these parts is a symbol of Alan Paine quality. Each seam is hand linked to create a smooth transition. All garments from Alan Paine are finished by hand. The stress points on the garment, such as under the arms, cuffs and ribs, are reinforced.
